Miami Champagne Week 2017

Inauguration event at Abaco Wine Bar in Design District. Premium seated tasting of 8 Tête de Cuvées, with some of the finest champagne that each Champagne House produces. We will compare and contrast premium champagnes brands, discuss the quality and the production methods. Some of the champagnes we will taste: Dom Perignon, Louis Roederer Cristal, Armand de Brignac, Bollinger La Grande Anee, Krug, Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill.
“Grower Champagne” dinner at Costa Med Bistro + Wine in Key Biscayne, FL. We will pair 4 champagnes with 3 dishes prepared by the Chef. Great opportunity to try champagnes as Philippe Gonet Blanc de Blancs “Signature” Non Vintage and Henri Giraud “Esprit” Nature Non Vintage.
Champagne seminar at the Florida Wine Academy with Alessandra Esteves MAES and DipWSET, Raffaele Benassi, Director European Business Development for Breakthru Beverage Florida, and Alejandro Vera DipWSET.
We will discover the different styles of champagne from Brut to Demi-Sec, learn labeling terms such as NV and Vintage, Blanc de Blanc, Blanc de Noirs, and taste 7 exquisite champagnes: Billecart Salmon Extra Brut, Ayala Brut Majeur, Gosset Grand Reserve Brut, Charles Heidsieck Millesime 2005, Billecart Salmon Rose, Bollinger Rose and Delamotte Blanc de Blanc.
