Miami, FL. Today Florida Wine Academy announced their second-annual Miami Champagne week. They will be hosting various events around the city from October 15th-20th. The event was a great success last year, seeing over a 100 people and more than 30 different champagne brands. This year Florida Wine Academy will host six events, and a percentage of ticket sales will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

October is the pink month and what better way to celebrate Champagne Day and help this wonderful organization,” says Alessandra Esteves, co-founder and Director of Wine Education for Florida Wine Academy.
This year the week of activities will kick off on Monday, October 15th with a Champagne Movie Night held at the CMX theater in Brickell City Centre. On Tuesday there is a Pop-Up tasting at Wynwood Walls, where the Florida Wine Academy team will lead guests through three different champagnes to be enjoyed with several passed hors d’ouvres. Other events that week include a Champagne Lab that will focus on the terminology used on champagne labels and a Champagne Masterclass hosted at Florida Wine Academy. The Masterclass will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Champagne Billecart- Salmon and feature seven different champagnes.
On Friday, October 19th guests will be treated to a Champagne Taittinger Dinner featuring 12 dishes and four different champagnes at Zuma restaurant in the beautiful Epic Kimpton hotel. On Saturday, October 20th we will conclude our week by celebrating Champagne Night at Hiden Miami, with an exclusive dinner for 8 people.
